Adult and Community Educators of Florida, Inc. (ACE), is a nonprofit association that represents, promotes and advocates for adult and community education professionals and volunteers through its commitment to improving and expanding adult and community education programs and services throughout the state to enhance the quality of life for all Floridians.

Executive Director's Welcome

Welcome to the ACE of Florida website.  ACE of Florida is your state professional association that provides leadership, advocacy and professional development training for adult educators.  Our goal is to provide the support, training and resources to help you be successful as an educator, and to provide the adult education students a clear path to reaching their goals of better job skills and opportunities, higher wages and a positive impact on their families and communities.

The ACE website is host to our training events schedule, legislative updates, resources, success stories, conference news and more.  We hope you visit the website often and find the information useful, timely and relevant.

Being a member of ACE of Florida has its advantages…reduced conference registration fees, legislative updates, quarterly newsletters and more!  If you are a member, thank you for your support.  If you are not a member, please consider joining.  Together, we are a strong leader in our field and a unified voice for all of Florida’s adult educators and students.  Together, we can make a difference!

It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of Adult and Community Educators of Florida, Inc. (ACE of Florida). Whether you are a seasoned member of our association or someone exploring the world of adult education, we are thrilled to have you exploring our site.

At ACE of Florida, our purpose is clear: advocating for adult education and empowering practitioners through comprehensive professional development opportunities. With a dedicated membership of over 1,000 individuals, we serve as a unified voice representing the interests, concerns, and talents of adult education practitioners and students across the state of Florida.

Our association is committed to enhancing the quality of life for all Floridians by improving and expanding adult and community education programs and services. Through collaborative efforts and continuous advocacy, we strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adult learners and educators alike.

Our organization plays a pivotal role in improving and expanding adult and community education programs and services, aiming to enhance the quality of life for all Floridians. Over 167,000 adult students are served through school district, community-based organizations, and state college adult education programs, providing pathways to high school equivalency (GED®) completion, literacy improvement, English acquisition, workforce readiness, and access to higher education and employment opportunities.  We recognize that adult education is not just about individual empowerment—it's about transforming communities.
